OUR ORGANIZATION

We are a non-profit corporation with federal tax exempt status governed by a Board of Directors. Our counselors are active in local churches and consider counseling as their ministry. We operate on contributions and on client fees set annually by the Board. We serve the needs of all, regardless of race,creed or color. Gifts to the Center are tax deductible. Fees may be claimed as medical expenses.

SETTING

The Center offers services in a serene facility nestled in a quiet, country setting dotted with ancient evergreen oaks.

PROFESSIONAL STAFF

Our full-time staff includes Bill Osborn,Ph.D., Psychologist, and Evelyn Osborn, M.S.,Counselor. At times, we also have part-time staff available. We provide professional services with a Christian perspective. We serve a variety of requests, including but not limited to problems arising from anxiety, stress adjustment difficulties, mood changes, grief, divorce, and trauma recovery, marital and pre-marital concerns, family problems, child and adolescent issues, parenting, attention disorder, learning difficulties, and vocational planning. We conduct psychological evaluations, provide assessment/referral services, and offer court-related services. We are a referral resource for Focus on the Family and several churches.

Following the black line traveling from 98W take Old Hwy 11 south, SHC is 3.0 miles. Go through the 4-way stop at Oak Grove. Continue south on Old Hwy 11, SHC will be on your left. Look for the following sign out front.
